Guttata ‘Bullatta’ is a dwarf variety founded by Jerry Hornes of Miami and named by Jim Georges. An outstanding Alocasia with distinct leathery, thick, multi-toned, high gloss leaves that reach 12" in length. The Latin derivative, “Guttata” relates to the spots on the petioles. Leaves typically are ashen blue-gray on the upper surface overlaid with deep blue-black zones around the midrib and primary veins. The leaf lower blade surface on some clones is pale whitish-green only barely suffused with tints of purple. On other clones the lower blade surface is red-purple with a green midrib and primary veins. The petioles are pale green overlaid with purple spots.
