|
| One of the most attractive species of Alocasia. Introduced from the Philippines, leaves are ovate, elliptic and almost totally peltate. Upper leaf surface is bright lime-green with dramatically contrasting black zones around the primary veins. The lower leaf surface is paler green. Leaves reach 26-28” by 18-20” and have a softer texture. The petioles and peduncles are lime green , the tube of the spathe is white with a tint of pale lime and the blade of the spathe is white. The lower portion of the spadix is cream to white and the upper sterile appendage is yellow. |
