       A relatively small growing species with leaves sagittate with strongly marked sinuous margins 9” long and 4”wide. The petioles are to 6” long and the leaves are green with the veins strongly impressed on the surface and prominent on the lower surface. At maturity the leaves reach 20” long and 13” wide. Then the leaves become not only sinuate at the margins, but also dramatically undulate. Mature leaves are grey-green on the surface and reddish beneath.
