'Hilo Bay' has large glossy, olive-green slightly ovate leaves that are ruffled or corrugated in texture and have an undulating margin and dark purple petioles (stems). It produces multiple secondary shoots that are attached to the mother plant on short stolons. The Royal Hawaiian Colocasia series has a tidy clumping habit that is perfect for large containers, landscaped beds and pond-side plantings.
