This is a beautiful, strong, vigorous plant that produces a medium size bunch of bananas that are a brilliant red and gold upon ripening. Fruit is very aromatic with creamy orange pulp. The “tall” matures at 16 to 18 feet. It takes 20 to 30 months to bear fruit the first time, then every year thereafter. Sometimes the red will mutate from red to all green. Then it is called the ‘Tall Green Red”.
