Named after the breeder, Robert T. DeNeve, this Spathiphyllum has continued to grow in popularity, and production, since it was introduced in 1982. As an intermediate to large variety, ‘Deneve’ is very symmetrical, profusely suckering, and is easily distinguishable among other Spathiphyllum because of its serrated, large, and light green matte finished leaves. Upon adaptation to the indoors, the foliage obtains a much darker green coloration. ‘Deneve’ is utilized in all markets and a favorite of interiorscapers due to its durability and prominent pure white flowers.
