Growing Information

  • Temp: 65-90°F. Cold Sensitive

  • Light: 1,000-2,500 ft-c. (75-90% shade), will not tolerate high light. (Note: high light causes leaves to curl, become pale and clorotic)

  • Soil: : good aeration and water holding capacity; pH 6.0-6.5

  • Pot Size: 4-10"

  • Hardiness: Zone 9

  • Major Pests: Mites, Caterpillers, Mealybugs, Scale, Thrips, and Whitefly

  • Diseases: Phytophthora Blight, Cylindrocladium Root Rot, and Myrothecium

       One of the smallest Spath in production. Its fast rate of growth is similar to Spathiphyllum ‘Tasson’. It has a mature height of 18” when grown in a 10” pot. Lance-shaped leaves have a matte finish. It produces an abundance of white flowers all season long, with no treatment required. It favors low light and does not require as much water as some Spathiphyllum. Dish gardens and desk tops will be distinctive with this wonderful addition. (Growth similar to Del Rio)
