Growing Information

  • Temp: 70-95°F, plants benefit form bottom heat of approx. 70°F in root zone, very heat & cold tolerant

  • Light: 1500-3000 foot-candles (70%-80% shade). Some varieties can handle full sun in landscape.

  • Soil: A light weight, peat-based professional mix, with good aeration and water-holding capacity.

       This is a sport out of ‘Neon’, which is the brightest hot pink new Syngonium (Nephthytis) in the marketplace. It is a tetrapoid so the leaves a platter-shaped. What a bold statement it makes in an assortment or in a combination dish garden. ‘Neon Tetra’ is a self-branching or self-heading variety that will fit 3”, 4”, 6” totems and baskets. High rates of fertilizer have proven to ward off diseases (consult your fertilizer supplier for the correct rates). Air movement is very important for this Syngonium. It looks great in a 8-10" bulb pan (3/per).
