       This Xanthosoma’s origin is Costa Rica. It is a tropical herb with a thick rhizome. The petioles are marbled gray brown and greenish brown. The leaves are soft and herbaceous divided into oblanceolate lobes along a curving sinus, dull deep green above with depressed veins, glossy green beneath.
